Pros: Blurs pores and imperfections, virtually weightless, prolongs makeup wear, great value at $8 for 1.3 oz.
Cons: Doesn't give impressive redness correction
This is a great budget primer which is virtually flawless; keyword being virtually. You get full face coverage with a pea-sized amount so with a great size of 1.3 oz. this tube should last for a few months with daily use (typical primers are packaged at 1 oz. sizes so you're basically getting an extra 30% for free).
After it sets in two minutes you get a weightless canvas for face makeup which blurs pores and fine lines. I found it prolonged wear an extra 2 hours.
Unfortunately, it doesn't do much for redness. I have noticeable rosacea on the sides of my face and found this color correcting primer only negated the most subtle of pink tones. For heavy color correction I'd look elsewhere.
Overall, this is a wonderful everyday primer. At just $8 for a generous 1.3oz. it's bound to last several months. I'm sure if I don't repurchase this exact primer, I'll definitely buy another option from Hard Candy's line.
